Tradiční CAD software pro přímé modelování přichází v nové verzi a současně pod novým názvem v souladu se změnou strategie firmy PTC, která tuto aplikaci získala před několika lety akvizicí firmy CoCreate.
Nadále se jedná o samostatný software, jenž doplňuje portfolio firmy PTC v čele s revolučním produktem Creo. Creo/Elements Direct 18 nabízí proti svému předchůdci jednodušší uživatelské rozhraní vybavené pásy karet (tzv. ribbony), optimalizaci návrhových postupů s využitím kontextově senzitivních nástrojů pro kreslení a modelování, produktivnější správu dat doplněnou o webového klienta a především pak interoperabilitu se systémem Creo 1.0. Modely vzniklé v Creo/Elements Direct 18 je možné dále analyzovat v aplikaci Creo Simulation nebo prohlížet v programu Creo View MCAD.

PTC Releases Creo Elements/Direct 18.0
